My Cheeseball Christmas Tradition

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. If I found a magic lamp, rubbed it and the Genie gave me one wish, not three, that wish would be for every day, all 365 days in the year be like Christmas. People are different at Christmas. They are more giving, forgiving, generous, happier and looking out for the wellbeing of everyone.

My Christmas tradition is making a cheeseball that I give away to friends, neighbors and family.

The recipe is simple. Use 4 ounces of blue Cheese, 8 ounces of cream cheese (both at room temperature) , black olives (to your taste), a splash of Worcestershire sauce and a few drops of hot sauce. All mixed together and shaped into a ball about the size of a baseball, then rolled in crushed walnuts.

I give them away with a box of crackers. I brought one to an Office Christmas party and my boss’s secretary sat with it and ate the entire ball then asked for the recipe.

Hope you try it and enjoy as much as I do! Merry Christmas-Bob
