I knew them both and can recall

Hyde was born from alcohol

Doctor Jekyll frail and thin

Hyde a Monster confined within

Jekyll drank and would pass out

That’s when Monster Hyde came out

Doctor Jekyll smart, discreet

Hyde the Monster roams the street

Jekyll witty full of charm

Hyde was out there doing harm

So, when all is said and done

There’s a little bit of Hyde in everyone

Some shouldn’t drink at all
