Someone said Christmas was cancelled

Rumor has it Santa is dead

They’re saying the Elves went on strike

And the Bank repossessed his sled

I don’t know who started this rumor

To date no one will confess

If I had to put the blame on someone

The Grinch would be my best guess

Whoever started this rumor

It’s one we must quickly zap

I just heard Santa stop snoring

He’s waking up from his daily nap

Rudolph harnessed the Reindeer

The Weatherman promises snow

The Elves loaded the sleigh

Everything is ready to go

Christmas will go on as scheduled

Relax you have nothing to fear

That Jolly Old Guy will take to the sky
