First Impression

You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression

I got invited to this party, tried to act so cool

Tripped on the carpet, felt like a fool

The waiter handed me a glass, I think it was iced tea

I lost my grip on the glass, it spilled all over me

So listen to this advice, listen without question

You don’t get a second chance, to make a first impression

They brought around some food; I was hungry least to say

I reached for a Hors d’oeuvre

knocked over the whole tray

So listen to me friend, if you don’t want indigestion

You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression
