Always Be A Kid
Oh for children’s painless play
Sleep that wakes in laughing day
For content and peace of mind
That only children seem to find
Not a worry, not a care
Happiness beyond compare
Protected by a God above
Who lets them live, laugh and love
But all too soon that time will fade
And from that world in which they played
They’ll leave to find another yet
That’s full of fear, hate and regret
If one wish were granted me
Here’s what that one wish would be
Too laugh and do the things I did
And all my life just be a kid
